Industry - Tech, Wearables, Health
Role - Design Manager
Background
I led award-winning product development across wearables, consumer tech, and healthcare, from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 companies. Bringing first-of-their-kind ideas to market meant identifying opportunities to differentiate, setting an informed and feasible vision, and navigating constraints with cross-functional teams to make these new technologies usable, approachable, and desirable.

Projects
Across these programs, I guided teams through the full development cycle, from early concept exploration through detailed design and production. The work was rapid and iterative, requiring quick acclimation to new industries, synthesis of insights, and cycles of prototyping, testing, and visualization. I drove decisions that kept user needs at the center - exploring broad design concepts, distilling them into the strongest strategic directions, and advancing those solutions through CMF, engineering and production reviews, and design language development. These efforts moved bold ideas into real hardware, packaging, and digital products loved by millions of users around the globe.

Thoughts
These efforts demanded responsiveness and rapid sense-making across new industries, evolving technology, and compressed timelines. I loved moving ideas from sketch to reality and seeing them show up in daily life, worn by strangers on the street or even by friends who had no idea I helped build them. It was exciting to see products scale to millions of users, enable acquisitions for clients, and become market leaders in their space.
